FAQ's

Pricing & Financing

How much does a new roof cost in Wisconsin?
Roof replacement costs can vary widely depending on the size of your home, material selection, roof complexity, and ventilation needs. Most residential roofing projects fall within a broad range, but the best way to get accurate pricing is through an on-site inspection. We provide detailed, transparent estimates so you know exactly what to expect.

Several factors influence pricing, including:

  • Size and pitch of the roof or structure
  • Material type (asphalt, metal, siding, etc.)
  • Ventilation and insulation requirements
  • Existing damage or underlying repairs
  • Accessibility and safety requirements

We walk through all of this with you so there are no surprises.

Yes. We offer financing options to help make your project more manageable. Terms vary depending on the project and lender, and we’re happy to walk you through available options.

Yes, deposits are required to secure your place on our schedule and to order materials. Specific terms will be clearly outlined in your agreement.

We understand some customers prefer to retain a small portion for peace of mind. While payment is due upon substantial completion (see below), we may allow a limited holdback for remaining punch list or warranty-related items.

Process and Timeline

What is your process from estimate to completion?

Our process is designed to be clear and efficient:

  1. Inspection and consultation
  2. Detailed estimate and material selection
  3. Scheduling and material ordering
  4. Project installation
  5. Final walkthrough and punch list (if needed)
Most residential roofing projects are completed in 1–3 days. Siding and larger exterior projects may take longer depending on scope and weather conditions.
Weather can impact scheduling, especially in Wisconsin. If delays occur, we will communicate proactively and reschedule as quickly as conditions allow.

Substantial completion means the project is functionally complete and usable as intended, even if minor items remain. At this stage:

  • The system is fully installed and operational
  • Any remaining items are minor (cosmetic or manufacturer-related)
  • Final payment is due per the agreement

Insurance & Claims

Do you work with insurance claims?
Yes. We regularly assist homeowners through the insurance claims process, especially for storm-related damage.
Absolutely. We can meet with your adjuster on-site to ensure all damage is properly documented.
We can review your claim and provide documentation or guidance if additional information is needed. In some cases, claims can be supplemented or reconsidered.

Materials & Options

What roofing materials do you offer?

We install a variety of roofing systems including:

  • Asphalt shingles
  • Metal roofing and metal shingles
  • Specialty and designer systems

We’ll help you choose the best option based on your goals, budget, and home style.

Metal roofing performs extremely well in Wisconsin’s climate. It offers excellent durability, snow-shedding capability, and long-term value.
We offer multiple siding options including vinyl, engineered wood, fiber cement, and metal systems. Each has its own benefits depending on your priorities.
We guide you through product and color selections, taking into account your home’s architecture, neighborhood, and long-term resale value.

Wisconsin-Specific Concerns

How do you prevent ice dams?

Ice dams are typically caused by poor ventilation and insulation. We address this by:

  • Improving attic ventilation
  • Ensuring proper airflow
  • Identifying problem areas before installation
Yes, in many cases. While extreme weather can cause delays, winter installations are possible with proper planning and materials.
All materials we install are selected for durability in harsh Midwest conditions, including heavy snow, wind, and temperature swings.

Warranty, Punch List & Concerns

What warranty do you provide?
We offer both manufacturer warranties and workmanship warranties. Specific coverage will depend on the materials selected.
A punch list is a short list of minor items that may need adjustment or completion after the main installation is finished.
If an issue arises, we’ll assess whether it falls under warranty, manufacturer coverage, or normal maintenance and guide you through the next steps.

During the Project

Will I need to leave my home during the project?
In most cases, no. You can remain in your home, though there will be noise and activity during installation.
We take steps to protect landscaping, siding, and surrounding areas, and perform a thorough cleanup at the end of the project.

We recommend:

  • Moving vehicles away from the work area
  • Securing fragile items inside your home
  • Clearing outdoor furniture or decorations
